Jennifer "Jenny" Rette  Russell, LPC-S, RPT

Licensed Professional Counselor Superviser, Registered Play Therapist

I have a Masters of Science in Counseling, with a specialty in play therapy, from the world’s top-ranked play therapy program, University of North Texas (UNT). I have worked with adults, teens, children and parents across several settings including university clinics, hospital emergency departments and nonprofit agency settings.

I’m a registered play therapist with years of experience in trauma of all sorts, including medical trauma. Additionally, I focused my research in graduate school on siblings of chronically ill children as they, often by necessity, have less time with their parents which can have a variety of outcomes similar to chronic trauma.

I’m also certified in Emotional Transformation Therapy™ (ETT™) which is a new form of therapy that rapidly alleviates emotional distress as well as physical pain. The term “transformation” refers to how quickly significant change typically occurs when ETT™ is used. It is a non-drug approach that can bypass the intellect and directly change human emotions.

If you want a counselor who is genuine and trustworthy to walk beside you or your child please call to see if we are a good therapeutic fit.
